A Celebration of Creativity

I began drawing aged 9 because my best friend liked drawing and I thought he was pretty good at it. I thought "I can do that!"
And so my journey began with pencils. As I progressed through school, drawing became my main focus, maybe at the expense of other subjects.
I was always very good at drawing hands, to the point my teacher in secondary school would ask me to draw the hands for some of his graphic design work for a small commission.

After school I moved into other areas of work with art always being a constant in the background. It was something I needed to do. During this period I learnt different techniques and used various materials, discovering how they reacted with each other, creating the images shown here.
This process enabled me to create pictures for myself and commissions for others, ranging from landscapes and flowers to portraits both human and animals and everything in between. My preference for my personal pictures is charcoal and pastels. Though I also work in lightfast coloured pencils, acrylic and oil paint.

I have recently moved into creating art full time.
